This location is near the Lake County Building, where all DUI, misdemeanor and felony charges that are filed each year in Lake County are handled. The Lake County Building also houses the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of the 19th Judicial Circuit of Lake County, Illinois.
Office Appointments and Consultations
Attorney Matt Hoffman does not charge a consultation fee. This means that if you have a legal issue on a criminal, DUI or traffic case that is pending in a jurisdiction in which he practices, he will not charge you a fee in order to discuss your matter with you. If you have a pending traffic matter that is charged as a municipal code violation or as a petty offense, most of the time it is possible to discuss and analyze your situation over the telephone. In such cases, Matt is likely to request that you provide him with a copy of your traffic tickets, either by email, fax, or mail, and may also request to review a copy of your driving record. However, if you wish to come in and meet with Matt, you are not discouraged from doing so, on any case. On criminal matters and more serious traffic cases, Matt almost invariably requires an office consultation. This consultation also will be held free of charge.
